Collette Dinnigan is one of Australia's most successful and celebrated fashion and interior designers. In 2017 Collette was awarded an Order of Australia.

Collette became the first Australian to mount a full-scale ready-to-wear collection in Paris in October 1995, and in 1996 was invited by the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture to show on the prestigious Paris Fashion Week schedule. In 2008, she was invited to join the esteemed executive board of the organization.

Collette Dinnigan described her label's style as being romantic bohemian and timelessly elegant, based on the reworking of historical fabrics.

Since closing her clothing label in 2013, the Australian designer has focused on luxury interiors styling.

An incredibly special vintage dress with boning in the bodice and a lace up back. 

The dress has a slight Edwardian feel to it with the lace up and boning details.

This pre-loved piece was bought by a visual merchandising specialist in the fashion industry. A piece bought for a special birthday a decade ago. 'It's a sexy piece without being revealing. There is a Carine Roitfeld vibe to it - a really empowering dress.'
